Sean asks the female fans of the show to stop being so thirsty in his Instagram DMs

 Sean Heffernan, one of the most handsome foreign men to ever join the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, is finding that his looks are more of a burden than a blessing in the U.S., especially amid his split from Joanne.

In the second episode of their podcast, they tackled a growing issue—the overwhelming thirst from female fans of the show, which had been happening even before his breakup with Joanne.

 Sean, now a public figure, has been flooded daily with flirty, thirsty messages in his Instagram DMs and comments. Women constantly try to get his attention, but he is frustrated that all they seem to care about is his looks and body rather than who he is as a person. He implied that he is more than just a piece of meat—he is a man with thoughts and feelings, and on top of that, he is still technically married. Joanne is not completely out of his life yet, making the situation even more complicated. 

Sean and James did not hold back in their discussion, calling out the women harassing him on social media as unhinged and overly thirsty. They pointed out that many of these women have kids and husbands to take care of, yet they are inviting Sean to stay in their homes and hang out with them instead of focusing on their own families.  

While Sean appreciates the love and attention, he wants female fans to stop objectifying him and treat him like a human being. He understands that his appearance and status make him desirable, but he is asking for respect rather than obsession. As he navigates life post-breakup, Sean hopes to set boundaries and remind fans that he is more than just a handsome face—he is a person with depth, emotions, and a life beyond the show.
